Craps is a casino dice game that I can enjoy at both land-based and online British casinos. The best casinos in the United Kingdom (UK) offer not only online craps but also live craps, which I play with a live dealer and HD stream.
You can also play craps live in Great Britain from the comfort of your home, but do you know the best craps casino to play at online? In this article, I’ll briefly discuss my recommended casinos for the best live craps games, the game’s rules, and anything else you could want to know about it.
Best live dealer craps casinos for UK players
Take a look at mu personal recommendations for the best craps casino sites with the best deposit bonuses and banking options for players. Take a look at my list and find the gambling site for you:
How I rated the best live craps sites in the UK
Choosing a reliable and top live craps site isn’t always easy, as it requires in-depth research. I use strict rating guidelines to evaluate the best UK craps casinos, looking at the factors below.
- Licensing and safety: The United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC) must license and regulate all the sites to be legal for British players. The casino should also use an independent testing agency to test its games for fairness.
- Best craps live selection: While I always enjoy a more significant game selection, UK’s best live craps games should show variety. I want to see various game versions and software providers listed, like Evolution Gaming. I also made sure that the rest of the game library had plenty to offer.
- UK’s top bonuses and promotions: The bonuses and promotions should range from a first deposit bonus to reload offers. I always check whether the operator has fair terms on the bonuses, like a low wagering requirement.
- Good payment methods: I check for popular payment methods like debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and select e-wallets such as PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, and similar. The withdrawal terms should also be clear and reasonable.
- Effective customer support: Customer service should be fast and effective in resolving any questions, and I prefer it to be available 24/7. I also look at which support channels are available to UK customers.

Is craps a dice game?
Live craps is one of the best dice games found in online casinos, in which you bet on the outcome of two dice after the shooter (the ‘dealer’) rolls them. Multiple camera angles and HD quality ensures you can see the live stream of the shooter and craps table. Many wagers and side bets are available.
The layout of the craps table might look a bit confusing, but once you familiarise yourself with it, it becomes easy to understand. There are different versions of this game, though usually, you’ll see Live Craps and First Person Craps available at casinos.
Rules for playing live craps
Craps has some rules you must understand before playing. I’ll list the basics below, followed by any rule variations in other game versions.
- A come-out roll, when the shooter rolls the dice, starts the game.
- You must place a Pass Line bet before the dice roll.
- A Natural is when you roll a 7 or 11, which means you win and get another roll.
- A Craps is when you roll a 2, 3, or 12, which is a loss, but still gives you another chance to roll.
- A Point is if you get anything from 4 to 10, excluding 7, and this is the points you earn.
- A small white button that says On is at times used to show your points.
- The Natural, Craps, and Point only happen in the come-out roll. You must roll a point again before you roll a 7 to receive that point.
- A stickman is an employee who hands the dice back to the shooter using a craps stick.
- When playing a craps game, you use chips to bet, and the set values usually range between 50p and £2,000.
- Craps odds range from 1:1 payouts to 30:1 payouts.
Crapless craps
This version doesn’t have a pass bet, and 11 doesn’t always mean a win. A craps loss isn’t part of this game, so 2, 3, and 12 don’t always result in a loss. However, the house edge is about 5x higher.
Simplified craps
This version has entirely different rules and is much simpler than the standard craps. There are fewer bet types, and if you roll number 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, or 12, then you win. Numbers 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 result in a loss but have higher odds of landing, and the game’s house edge is 2.8%.
Is live craps legal to play in the UK?
Live craps is legal to play for any UK player who registers at a UKGC-licensed casino and is 18 or over. The UKGC has strict gambling regulations, so you know any casino licensed by them can legally offer their services and will provide fair terms and conditions.
How to choose a trustworthy live craps casino in the UK
It’s not always easy to know which casinos are trustworthy, so I researched it for you. A trustworthy casino will always be licensed by the UKGC and offer fair terms and conditions. Any casinos I recommend above can be trusted and offer quality, reliable services.

Can you play live craps on mobile?
The best thing about live games is you can enjoy them on your mobile. HTML5 and quality streaming technology ensure it adapts to your screen and allows you to play and wager on the go. Many of these sites offer a mobile app, so you can access it instantly without a browser.
What is the RTP for live craps?
The house edge for the game’s past and no-pass bets ranges between 1.36% and 1.41%, giving it an RTP between 98.64% and 98.59%. However, depending on the game version, the house edge can go as high as 2.8% or even 5x the standard house favour.
What is the best UK casino to play live craps?
In my perspective, Duelz is one of the best options, as it’s an award-winning platform offering live games and other titles. It has a fun theme, and live game stakes contribute towards the weekly 10% cashback offer. While the minimum deposit for most methods is a bit high at £20, the withdrawal is fast, and various payment methods are available.
Can I play live craps for free on UK sites?
The nature of live games doesn’t allow for free games, as the software providers, like Evolution and Microgaming, need to ensure the time of their shooters is optimised. As such, only real money bets are allowed with live craps, and you must be a registered player at the table.
What are the best craps bonuses for UK players?
There aren’t a lot of offers specific to live craps, but you’ll find some that are excellent to take advantage of when playing. A common one is a cashback offer on live casino games, which helps you minimise your losses. Other times there’ll be a reload bonus that will help boost your bankroll by a set percentage. Keep an eye on the promotions page, as some live casino time-limited offers might be available.
What other live games can I play at UK online casinos?
Casinos offer a large game variety, with many of the classics available as live titles. You can enjoy blackjack, baccarat, poker, and roulette at almost any online casino.
You’ll also find live game shows, other dice games like Sic Bo, and titles like Dragon Tiger, Teen Patti, and more.
