Bill Belichick was not amused when ESPN’s cameras cut to Taylor Swift as the Kansas City Chiefs were pushing for a score.

Travis Kelce brought his team inside the ten with 21 seconds remaining of the second quarter in the win over the New Orleans Saints.

With the Chiefs leading 13-7 at the time, it was a key moment.

Belichick was on Manningcast for Monday Night Football and groaned when Swift cheering on her boyfriend appeared on the feed.

He then went on to praise Kelce’s “big first half” as Peyton and Eli Manning chuckled in the background.

Many fans were with Belichick in the replies – but others pointed out that Belichick may be a secret fan of the pop megastar.

“Bill speaking for everyone,” posted one.

“Extremely Rare Bill Belichick W,” added another.

Unfortunately for Belichick, his new-found love for social media is providing fuel for internet detectives.

A photo of Belichick and girlfriend Jordon Hudson was posted in the replies with Bill rocking an Eras Tour sweatshirt.

“Isn’t bill wearing a Taylor swift sweater,” commented one fan.

“But he rocks her shirts,” added a second.

Kelce and Mahomes are starting to find form

Belichick’s relationship with former cheerleader Hudson went public earlier this year.

It has coincided with a huge shift in direction for the notoriously media-shy head coach.

As well as lining up a series of TV and podcast gigs, Belichick also stunned the world by joining Instagram – or Instaface as he calls it.

Kelce got off to a slow start this season but is starting to look more like his old self.

One brilliant play caught the eye last night as the tight end caught a quick pass up the middle and drew in the defense before pitching the ball to Samaje Perine.

The running back found space to set up a short field goal attempt for Harrison Butker, which he made to make the score 13-7.

Speaking after the 26-13 win, none of the Chiefs would confirm if Kelce had run a designed play or pulled off some brilliant improvisation.

“We do it every day in practice, so I can’t tell you the name of [the play],” head coach Andy Reid told ESPN’s Lisa Salters.

“I can neither confirm nor deny that it is in the playbook,” Kelce added.
