Boots launches £40 Fuel and Recover box filled with sports nutrition products worth £160

Boots has just launched its first-ever sports nutrition box.

The Boots Fuel and Recover Box is a sports nutrition treasure trove packed with £160.70 worth of premium products for just £39.99, and I got to check one out to see if it is worth the hype.

Supplements and protein powders are good for your body but not always for your wallet
MyProtein, Optimum Nutrition, Huel and Nuzest protein is included in the Boots box

You’ll recognise several of the brands inside the box, from Myprotein protein powder, which we rated in our best protein powders round-up to Huel chocolate meal replacement shakes.

There’s a total of 21 full-sized products in the Fuel and Recover box, including muscle recovery gels, magnesium supplements and electrolyte sachets as well as performance boosters like creatine and pre-workout.

I got to unbox the Boots Fuel and Recover bundle ahead of its launch and inspected the contents, which include enough recovery nutrition products to last a month.

I was impressed by the choice of snacks, with Grenade, Barebells and Strykr bars providing a variety of flavours.

Being someone who gets injured rather frequently, I can never have enough Deep Heat muscle rescue spray – that alone is worth £6.30 and I buy it often.

The new-in Boots nutrition box has received one review online so far.

The shopper wrote: “Just picked this up today, absolutely packed full of goodies.

“Tried a lot of the whey/clear protein before but some new items which look really good in here. Value for money”.

Overall, I think it’s great value for money.

I spend at least £40 on protein shakes alone every month and this contains so much more than that.

I love that it caters for all stages of a workout – before, during and after.

If Boots launch another one, I’ll be in the queue to buy one.
