Astonishing footage has emerged of an MMA fighter knocking out his opponent with an illegal head kick during a boxing match.
Undefeated Russian MMA fighter Idris Abdurashidov made his boxing debut against Iran’s Bagher Faraji at the Ali Boxing Club in Phuket, Thailand on Saturday night.

Faraji, who entered the fight as a 2-0 pro, was getting the better of proceedings heading into the fourth and final round.
He was seconds away from scoring a decision win when Abdurashidov uncorked a massive head kick that flattened the Iranian boxer.
Abdurashidov was disqualified for the illegal move, but still went on to boast about it on social media, even uploading a video of the disgraceful act.
He captioned the video: “So he debuted in professional boxing.
“And disqualification for life, that kick with the leg I threw away with a machine gun!”
Abdurashidov is now facing a lifetime ban from boxing, but some fans think his punishment should be far more severe.
Reacting to the clip, one supporter posted: “He should be arrested for assault and battery, and banned from doing any combat sports ever again. That is so low.”
Another wrote: “You should be banned from competing in all combat sports.”
A third added: “Should put him in jail for that.”
Meanwhile, somebody else commented: “You are not a professional athlete, because you have no control over yourself and your legs and hands.”

Abdurashidov is currently 4-0 in pro MMA and competes for the leading Asian promotion ONE Championship.
It is currently unknown if his unsportsmanlike conduct in boxing will affect his MMA career going forward.
The 21-year-old stopped Kazakbai Tilenov in his ONE FC debut last month and is a highly-rated prospect.
But his career could be over before it even got the chance to get going.
Faraji has since shared several videos of the incident on his Instagram story including a picture of Abdurashidov on the ground after what appears to be a knock down of his own.
