The Rock looks set to finally answer some questions about his WWE future.
The People’s Champion dominated the headlines coming out of the weekend’s epic WrestleMania, despite not being seen anywhere in Las Vegas across the two nights.

After a busy return to WWE life back in January, Dwayne Johnson has largely stayed away from the wrestling spotlight despite dominating one of the year’s top storylines.
He featured briefly in the run-up to Elimination Chamber in an attempt to side with then WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, but aligned with John Cena instead in one of the greatest wrestling storyline twists ever.
That segment soon became one of the biggest in WWE’s recent history and it set the tone for a much-hyped WrestleMania build, with many fans speculating that The Rock would be heavily involved in the storyline as it moved towards Sunday night.
Conspicuous by his absence, however, The Rock didn’t appear in the final throws of the Mania build-up, nor did he feature at the Show of Shows, which went off air with new champ Cena – having dethroned Rhodes – standing tall with musician Travis Scott instead.
For many fans that left a gaping hole in the logic of the whole Cena, Rock and Rhodes storyline, with some even convinced the whole saga ruined WrestleMania weekend itself.
The wrestler turned Hollywood sensation was nowhere to be seen on the Raw after WrestleMania, either – John Cena appeared to move on to his next storyline with former arch rival Randy Orton – but it seems fans might at least be able to get some answers.
It was confirmed in the early hours of Tuesday that, despite appearing to steer clear of all WWE programming around WrestleMania weekend, Rock will be broaching the subject with an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.
McAfee, part of WWE’s weekly Raw commentary team, will welcome The Great One on to his streaming show where the topic of wrestling is guaranteed to dominate the agenda.
The former NFL star turned broadcaster has grilled many a top wrestling name including Vince and Stephanie McMahon and Hulk Hogan in recent years and is sure to tackle Rock’s grappling absence in his own unique style.
Just what state McAfee is in for the high-profile interview remains to be seen, however – he was written out of part of Monday’s Raw show having fallen victim to a brutal attack at the hands of Gunther.

The former World Champion – unseated at WrestleMania by Jey Uso – took exception tow what he claimed was mockery by McAfee’s fellow commentator Michael Cole.
The Austrian physically removed Cole from the desk, prompting McAfee to defend his partner – and get choked out himself for his trouble.
The idea of a potential storyline between the Ring General and Pat was a hit with some fans on social media, though McAfee’s engagement with The Rock on Tuesday wasn’t lost on them either.
“Will Pat even be able to talk??” joked one post on X, while another said: “Is Pat going top show up in a neck brace?”
Others, though, were scathing at Rock’s appearance given his high-profile omission from wrestling’s biggest show.
One blasted: “Can’t go to Mania but will be on the McAfee Show. Shameful,” with another saying: “Boycott this man.”

A third complained: “Oh, so The Rock can make time for Pat McAfee but not WrestleMania? Can’t wait to hear this excuse.”
Another reply went as far as to say: “He shows up to that but not Wrestlemania? I don’t want that man involved in anything wrestling related anymore.”
While it seems a fair few won’t be happy about The Rock’s appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, plenty will be tuning in to see what’s said.
