The Tampa Bay Buccaneers sent an emotional message to fans ahead of their flight to New Orleans.

The Bucs relocated to New Orleans ahead of their Week 6 matchup against the Saints on Sunday.
Their social media team shared touching photos of the players and their families boarding their flight.
The black-and-white shots included pets and young children joining the NFL stars.
“En route to New Orleans with Tampa Bay in our hearts. Stay safe, Krewe,” their X post was captioned.
Fans sent their support in the replies.
“Prayers up for tampa. More than football. Everyone stay safe,” commented one.
“Get a win for the Bay this weekend, we could all use one,” said a second.
“Prayers to all over there and try to be safe,” added a third.
Florida is still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Helene, which claimed the lives of over 230 people, per ABC.
Milton’s winds have surged to 160mph according to the National Hurricane Center and President Joe Biden fears it could be the biggest hurricane to hit the state for 100 years.

“This could be the worst storm to hit Florida in over a century, and God-willing it won’t be, but it’s looking like that right now,” he said.
The home of the Tampa Bay Rays is being repurposed as a base camp for 10,000 emergency responders.
Tropicana Field has been filled with rows of green cots as authorities prepare to deal with the impact of the Category 5 storm.
“Time is running out,” Governor Ron DeSantis said at a briefing on Tuesday.

“So use today as your day to finalize and execute the plan that is going to protect you and your family.”
