JJ Watt has a new job.
The former three-time Defensive Player of the Year and minority owner of Burnley Football Club is moving to the broadcasting booth.

CBS Sports has announced that Watt will join Ian Eagle in the booth beginning with the 2025-26 season as a color commentator.
Watt was previously on the pregame and postgame desk for CBS as an analyst, but will now shift roles a bit.
Watt played 12 seasons in the league with the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals, establishing himself as one of the game’s best defensive players of his generation.
He has now found a second and third career, as broadcaster and owner of an EFL club.
Watt follows in NFL legend Tom Brady’s footsteps, who signed a ten-year, $375 million contract with Fox Sports to become the network’s lead color analyst for NFL games, alongside play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt.
Like Watt, Brady is an investor in English soccer, with a minority stake in Birmingham City.
