Busitema University overcame ISBAT University 2-0 during group A of the 2024-2025 Pepsi University Football League at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku stadium on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

A goal in either half from Gerald Oola and Joseph Dinya inspired Busitema University to their opening victory of the campaign.

Oola scored past goalkeeper Daniel Kakumirizi on the quarter hour mark, thanks to Christopher Akite’s donkey.

Akite then recorded his second assist on the sunny evening when Dinya found the back the net for Busitema University’s second goal.

Busitema University Lawrence Ssali Mugerwa was the only player cautioned in the game.

The maximum points for the visitors take Busitema University to their first win in two games and are on three points as Nkumba and IUIU.
