- Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku 4pm
SC Villa will be desperate to return to winning ways when they host UPDF at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku on Friday.
The champions come into the game on the back of three straight matches without victory which has put head coach Morley Byekwaso under huge pressure.
The hosts will hope their second half slips ups are avoided but for the start, they must beat the resilience of Joseph Kiwanuka’s men who have conceded just twice this season.
Francis Onekalit, Charles Lwanga, Hakim Kiwanuka and last season’s MVP Jonah Kakande will be key to force issues against a backline manned by former Villa captain Bernard Muwanga in UPDF defence.
Villa on 8 points are behind the leading pack by over the same number of points and failure to win against the army side will leave them further behind.
UPDF will move into fourth place with maximum points as they are on nine points at the moment.
