These two sides have a mixed record against each other recently, with Canada winning two of their last five meetings.

While Panama have won just once, in the World Cup qualifiers back in March 2022.

Canada have only hosted this fixture five times, last hosting them in the reverse fixture of the World Cup qualifiers, winning 4-1.

Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David were on target in that clash and will likely feature again on Tuesday night.

Canada reached the semi-finals of the Copa America in the summer, only losing to Argentina in 2-0 in a great run of form in the major tournament.

Defensively they were resilient, keeping a clean sheet against Peru and Chile, only conceding to Argentina in both the group stages and finals.

Along with a tough 1-1 draw that they eventually went on to win on penalties (4-3).

Canada beat USA 2-1 last month in another friendly, which saw them find the target as many as seven times from 17 shots.

David scored the eventual winner in the 58th minute and will be crucial up top for Canada once again, just as he was against Panama three years ago.

He’s scored five goals in just seven matches for LOSC in Ligue 1 and presents the biggest danger – with a continued strong tally in the French top flight.
