The undercard has been finalised for Canelo Alvarez’s undisputed super middleweight clash with William Scull.

Unified WBA, WBC and WBO champion Canelo (62-2-2) will take on IBF title holder Scull (23-0) on May 3, as the headliner for a six-fight bill in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Jaime Munguia (44-2) and Bruno Surace (26-0-2) will act as chief support in a rematch of their stunning inaugural encounter.

Surace was a massive underdog for the December 2024 clash but proved the bookmakers wrong by scoring a shock sixth-round knockout win to silence the former WBO super welterweight world champion’s home crowd in Tijuana, Mexico.

The fight was rated ‘Upset of the Year’ by most publications but now Munguia will have the opportunity to exact his revenge.

Further down the card, Martin Bakole (21-2) takes on Efe Ajagba (20-1) in an exciting heavyweight clash.

Bakole vs Ajagba has initially been ordered as an IBF final eliminator to determine Daniel Dubois‘ mandatory.

However, the fight lost its status after Bakole suffered a second-round knockout defeat to Joseph Parker in a fight he took on two days’ notice, stepping in for an ill Dubois.

This marks Bakole’s first fight back since the setback in February while Ajagba picked up a career-best win over Guido Vianello last April.

Elsewhere on the bill, WBC cruiserweight champion Badou Jack (28-3-3) will make a mandatory defence of his green and gold strap against Ryan Rozicki (20-1-1).

Jack will be fighting for the first time since snatching the belt from Ilunga Makabu in February 2023.

Meanwhile, Rozicki has fought five times in the same period.

The 30-year-old Canadian drew with Yamil Peralira last time out in December for the WBC ‘interim’ belt.

Also on the card is highly-touted Mexican amateur standout Marco Verde (0-0).

The Olympic silver medallist and Pan American gold medallist is set to make his professional debut against 12-fight veteran Michel Galvan Polina (4-5-3) at middleweight.

Completing the lineup is a light heavyweight clash between undefeated Cuban Brayan Leon (6-0) and Aaron Guerrero (11-3-1).

Leon is trained by Canelo’s coach Eddy Reynoso and has won all six of his pro fights via knockout.

He made an impression while sparring with Canelo last year and was taken under Reynoso’s wing thereafter.
