Chelsea recorded the biggest Europa Conference League win in history as they beat FC Noah 8-0 ahead of Sunday’s clash with Arsenal.

The Blues were incredibly 6-0 up at the break having blown away the Armenian minnows at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night.

Tosin Adarabioyo and Marc Guiu opened their accounts for the west Londoners in the 12th and 13th minute respectively.

Axed Disasi then headed home the hosts’ third moments later, before Joao Felix joined the party.

His first of the night came in the 21st minute, where he delicately chipped the ball over onrushing goalkeeper Ognjen Cancarevic.

Mykhailo Mudryk then fired in a screamer from outside the box – rifling in a curling attempt into the top right corner.

Felix then grabbed his second to add to the ever-growing scoreline with Chelsea’s next attack to send the home fans into dreamland heading into the break.

It was a first half to remember for Enzo Fernandez, who chipped in with three assists – matching his total tally of what he achieved last season.

Chelsea’s 6-0 lead at half-time was the biggest margin of scoreline set by an English team in a major European game since Derby County in September 1976.

The Rams were 9-0 up at the break during the UEFA Cup tie against Finn Harps at the Baseball Ground, before going on to beat their Irish opponents 12-0.

But while Chelsea failed to match that scoreline, they did set a new Conference League record and equalled another in the tournament which was created in 2021.

The previous record for the highest victory was Norwegian side Nordsjaelland’s 7-1 triumph over Bulgarian outfit Ludogerets in October 2023.

Meanwhile they are now one of four teams to hold the record of being involved in the biggest scoring game with eight goals.

It took until the 69th minute for Chelsea to grab their seventh, with Christopher Nkunku volleying home a rebound.

And the Frenchman then brought up his tenth goal of the season from the penalty spot in the 76th minute.

Chelsea couldn’t add a ninth to their tally, but they did manage to avoid conceding late on to record their first clean sheet since beating Barrow 5-0 in the Carabao Cup in September.

The win means that Chelsea have now won each of their three Conference League matches this term to sit top of the 36-team table.

Incredibly, they have banged in a whopping 16 goals in the process having also blasted out Gent and Panathinaikos.

It was the perfect night for boss Enzo Maresca in his side’s preparations to face London rivals Arsenal on Sunday.

Chelsea currently sit ahead of the Gunners on goal difference in the Premier League, and can go third in the table with a win if results go their way.
