Arsenal make the short trip across London as favourites for victory in Sunday’s derby at Stamford Bridge, despite being lower down the table than their hosts.
Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, having picked up just one point from their last three league games, making them level on points with Chelsea ahead of Sunday’s meeting but with an inferior goal difference.
The Gunners head into the weekend with just two wins in their last six games and following back to back defeats after their 1-0 defeat at Inter Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday night, having also been beaten 1-0 at Newcastle in the league last weekend.
The north London side will be desperate to get back to winning ways on Sunday and climb back into the Champions League qualification positions, with their next two fixtures against teams both in the top four.

Chelsea have enjoyed a better-than-expected start to the season under new manager Enzo Maresca, whose side head into the weekend fresh from an 8-0 demolition of Armenian side Noah in the Conference League on Thursday night.
The Blues had previously gone winless in each of their previous two matches, being knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Newcastle last week before earning a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend.
Chelsea, despite occupying fourth place in the Premier League table, haven’t had the most ideal of recent runs in the competition, winning just one of their last four matches, and will see Sunday as a fantastic opportunity to widen the gap between themselves in the top four and the chasing pack.
The west London side have won only one of their last 10 matches against the Gunners, who are unbeaten in their last five visits to Stamford Bridge.
