Collin Morikawa has extended his PGA Tour title wait after finishing second at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Morikawa held a one-shot lead heading into the final day at Bay Hill but fell short of fellow American Russell Henley.

Henley finished 11 under to seal his fifth title on the PGA Tour and first since his World Wide Technology Championship in 2022.
Finishing one stroke behind him was the two-time major champion Morikawa, who has missed out on silverware yet again.
After he finished top on day three, he was informed of how it’d been more than 500 days since his last win.
“Thank you for putting that in exact days, I hope you have the hours and minutes!” he responded to CBS interviewer Cara Banks.
“I’ve said it since day one, stick to my game plan. I know how to win out here, I’ve done it before.
“But honestly tomorrow, for 18 holes I just have to put it out there every single shot, not get ahead of myself, not think about the past and just be in control of who I am.”
However, the 28-year-old was unable carry out his plan of action on the course in Orlando.
The par-three 14th appeared costly as he hit a bogey whilst Henley putted a birdie before an eagle on the 16th to win $4million.
Morikawa went on to settle for second with Corey Connors finishing close behind on nine under to complete the top three.
His first PGA Tour win arrived in 2019 at the Barracuda Championship having birdied four of his last five holes to win by three points.

He then beat Justin Thomas in a sudden death play-off a year later to win the Workday Charity Open.
Morikawa also won the first of his two majors in 2020 with a 13 under finish at the PGA Championship.
WGC-Workday Championship success followed in 2021 before winning The Open Championship for his second major.
The Zozo Championship in 2023 remains his last PGA Tour victory and came 27 months after the previous triumph.
Speaking on Morikawa, Henley told CBS: “Hats off to Collin, he played great, super-steady, but sometimes golf is just mean like that.
“I was so nervous, so unbelievably nervous. I can’t breathe right now. It’s so hard and so difficult around this place.

“I just tried to stay really tough. I’ve watched Tiger [Woods] make a lot of putts on this green.
“I’ve watched Rory [McIlroy], Fran [Francesco Molinari] and Bryson [DeChambeau] make winning putts here, and it’s cool to know I did it too.”
