Inter are still in the Serie A title race heading into the final day. Their fate is out of their hands and Simone Inzaghi’s side need a favour from Napoli’s opponents Cagliari, but they retain hope for now.
First of all, Inter must take care of their own business by beating Como, who have been in fantastic form of late. Will Inter get the job done?

Como vs Inter predictions
The Serie A title race is going down to the wire. After 37 rounds of fixtures, just one point separates Napoli in top spot from Inter in second.
The Nerazzurri are outsiders heading into the final weekend. They must still be kicking themselves for conceding a late equaliser to Lazio last time out.
With Napoli being held to a 0-0 draw on Sunday night, Inter had the chance to rise above them by beating Lazio.
Both games took place at the same time, which made for a dramatic evening in Italy. Inter led 2-1 until the 90th minute, when Pedro Rodriguez converted a late penalty to draw Lazio level.
That goal from the Spaniard sparked celebrations among supporters of Napoli, who remain in pole position to claim the scudetto.
There have been plenty of twists and turns along the way this term, but Inter deserve credit for still being in the conversation going into matchday 38.
A few weeks back, it looked like they were running out of steam. Inter won only one of four league games in April, and back-to-back defeats by Bologna and Roma left them with substantial work to do.
Inter have closed the gap in May, though, taking seven points from nine while Napoli were held to draws by Genoa and Parma.
A draw for Inter and a defeat for Napoli on Friday would see the two teams finish level on points. That means the title would be determined by a play-off. It is the ideal outcome for neutrals, and Inter would probably take it from this position too.
Although Napoli will expect to seal the deal by beating Cagliari on Friday, Inter must attempt to apply as much pressure to Conte’s team as possible.
The pressure is on Napoli rather than Inter, a fact which Simone Inzaghi will no doubt emphasise to his players ahead of this match. Inzaghi and Conte are both serving touchline bans, so neither manager will be on the sideline on Friday.
On paper Como look like the ideal opponents for Inter: they are guaranteed to finish 10th no matter what happens this weekend.
But Cesc Fabregas’ team have been in fantastic form of late. They have won six of their last seven games and have the best record in Serie A since the beginning of April. Inter should be wary.

Como vs Inter betting tips
Will Inter hold up their end of the bargain by seeing off Como on Friday night?
Inter to win
Como have been playing brilliantly over the last few weeks, but a six-game winning streak came to an end with a 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona last time out.
None of the teams they beat in that winning run are comparable in quality to Inter. Indeed, Monza, Torino, Lecce, Genoa, Parma and Cagliari are all in the bottom half.
Sometimes teams like Como with nothing to play for perform well because the pressure is off. But it is hard to see Inter coming unstuck given how badly they need to emerge victorious.
The Nerazzurri have a Champions League final to look forward to next weekend, but for now they are fully focused on Serie A.
Inzaghi’s crew should take care of their own business here.

Both teams to score
If you were to create a dream team composed of the two Serie A title contenders, you would pick Napoli’s defence and Inter’s attack.
Inter are the division’s leading scorers with 77 goals, while Napoli have the meanest rearguard with 27 conceded.
Inzaghi’s men have had their backline breached 12 times in their last 14 outings in all competitions, so Como will like their chances of making the net bulge for a 15th game on the bounce.
Goals at both ends looks like a solid selection at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

Lautaro Martinez to score or assist
Lautaro Martinez is Inter’s leader and captain, so it is huge news that the Argentina international is ready to return for the trip to Como.
Martinez was not involved in the 2-2 draw with Lazio; had he been, Inter might have got over the line.
He should go straight back into the starting XI on Friday, repartnering Marcus Thuram up front.
Martinez has scored 22 goals in all competitions this season, as well as chipping in with three assists.
He will be heavily involved in the final third against Como as Inter aim to win the title.
