Juma Miyagi and Sirajje Nsubuga have been nominated in the silver foreign category of the 2025 PSL Draft.

The PSL is Pakistan’s franchise league and attracts the best players in the World, such as David Warner, Kane Williamson, and Usman Khawaja.

Juma Miyagi is a bowling All-Rounder with the Cricket Cranes who can open bowling, bowl at the back end, and contribute with the bat. He was part of Uganda’s squad at the 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies and also played at the 2022 U-19 in the West Indies. He will face some stiff competition from the rest of the World, but a place in the PSL should raise his stock and take his game to the next level.

The slow off spinner made Nsubuga debut for the Cricket Cranes in 2022 and since then he has raised his game. A very mean spinner who could benefit from the spinning wickets in Pakistan. He is also a very reliable fielder and can score runs if required.

Nsubuga was a stand out among his peers at U-19 level as a batting All Rounder but made his debut as a bowling All Rounder for the Cricket Cranes.

The 2025 PSL Draft will take place on Monday, 13th January at 6:00 pm. Miyagi and Nsubuga will need support by voting for them during the livestream by commenting with their names.
