  • ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League B | Second Round
  • Game 5: Uganda v Tanzania
  • Date: Saturday, February 15
  • Time: 4:00 am, EAT

Cricket Cranes will complete their second leg schedule of the ICC CWC Challenge League B tournament against their East African neighbours Tanzania.

Tanzania is yet to win a game from the eight games they have played so far over the two legs of the Challenge League which makes Uganda the favourite for this game unless the weather has other ideas.

Uganda has a spring in their step after a dominant 76-run victory against Hong Kong China, a game in which Raghav Dhawan picked up his third half-century of the tournament while Alpesh Ramjani scored his second half-century of the tournament.

Juma Miyagi and Cosmas Kyewuta have led the line well with the ball, while the left-arm spin pair of Henry Ssenyondo and Ramjani has bowled some mean spells. Dinesh Nakrani has not picked up so many wickets but he has given the support to both pace bowlers to make sure none of the bowlers is leaking runs.

Frank Nsubuga and Cyrus Kakuru are the only squad players not to be given a run out at this tournament so far and this encounter could tempt the coach to give the two some game time.

Uganda will remain top of the table if they win tomorrow and they would be hoping that Hong Kong China picks up a win against Italy to make sure they put some distance between themselves and the chasing pack.
