Cricket Cranes technical team has made a change to the final 14 players for the second round of the ICC Challenge League B tournament in Hong Kong.

Slow off-spinner Joseph Baguma has been withdrawn and replaced by medium-pace bowler Bilal Hassun.

The tri-series before the tournament must have informed the decision with the conditions favouring a lot of pace bowling, the team had travelled with two front-line pace bowlers in Juma Miyagi and Cosmas Kyewuta but with the team required to play five games inside 8 matchdays, that can take a toll on the two youngsters.

Bilal Hassun the senior statesman of the three-pace bowling options brings a lot of experience to the setup and his control and tidy length will be an asset to the team. The squad relied a lot on the slow bowlers Henry Ssenyondo, Alpesh Ramjani and Frank Nsubuga for the Kampala leg but the roles will be reversed with the pace bowlers taking the bulk of the work.

Cricket Cranes will take on Bahrain in their first game on February 7 but their key matches will be back-to-back against hosts Hong Kong China and Italy.

Uganda is on top of the table with nine points followed by Hong Kong China and Italy with seven points each.
