Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest-paid athlete in the world – so naturally can afford to spend eye-watering sums on places to live.
When he and Georgina Rodriguez swapped Manchester for Saudi Arabia they moved into a hotel temporarily.

This was not any normal hotel room, however, it was a £250,000 per-month luxury suite at the Four Seasons in capital city Riyadh.
That probably wasn’t a figure he baulked at, though, considering he is being paid £173million-a-year at Al Nassr.
He and his partner booked out two floors and 17 rooms at the Kingdom Tower, before later moving to a £10.5m mansion, according to Spanish outlet Marca.
While the couple are unmarried, they were also reportedly been given a special pardon from the law to live together.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez were staying in The Kingdom Suite, on the 48th and 50th stories of the building, which covers just short of 4000 square feet and offers ‘Spectacular views of the city’.
The Four Seasons website says the suite also comes with ‘24-hour in-room dining’, while Ronaldo can even request a ‘complimentary overnight shoeshine’.
Pictures and floorplans of the stunning suite are readily available, while airport transportation is covered at any hour.
The 39-year-old mutually agreed to terminate his contract in Manchester in 2022 after spectacularly falling out with the club and the boss.
Ten Hag repeatedly benched football’s record-scorer during his opening months in the dugout, leading to a number of flashpoints, which ended in a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo then became a free agent with his relationship with the club completely severed, joining Al-Nassr in Saudi.

In the new season of her Netflix show, ‘I Am Georgina’, the 30-year-old opened up on her delight after she learned Ronaldo was on the move once more.
“When Cris told me he was going to play for Al-Nassr, I was so relieved because I really wanted to leave Manchester,” Rodriguez said.
She added: “I knew something big was waiting for us and we were highly motivated. I was very happy to come to Saudi Arabia.”
Despite Ronaldo receiving the biggest contract of his career, Rodriguez conceded moving their family to a new country and culture was not easy.

“It all happened so quickly,” Rodriguez said.
At the beginning, I had some ups and downs because we had never lived in a hotel for so long. There were days when I didn’t want anyone to see me, but overall, I was very excited.”
In a game of ‘Mr & Mrs,’ he and Rodriguez were questioned about each other’s preferred retirement destinations.

He guessed Madrid, while she chose Saudi Arabia or Portugal. The pair offered no further explanation over where they might choose.
Ronaldo himself might also be inclined to return to the city where he spent a significant portion of his life, although doing so might require him to part with his magnificent mansion.
