Cristiano Ronaldo may be tempted back to Madrid, but not to play football.
The Portugal captain has revealed that his partner is keen to return to the country where he played from 2009 to 2018.

Ronaldo joined Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 as the world’s most expensive player, a summer on from his first Champions League and Ballon d’Or wins.
There he became an undisputed all-time great, becoming the top scorer in the history of arguably the world’s biggest sports team.
During his years dominating LaLiga, he also met Rodriguez, with whom he now has five children.
The pair met in Madrid in 2016 and departed to Turin when Ronaldo joined Juventus in 2018. From there they spent a brief stint in England with Manchester United, and now reside in Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo reportedly became the highest-paid athlete of all-time when he joined Al Nassr in 2023, and he’s also been credited with triggering an influx of players into the Saudi Pro League.
With those riches he’s purchased a mega-mansion in the capital of Riyadh featuring his own personalised gym and football pitch.
Ronaldo recently revealed those details in an interview with WHOOP, where he let the world inside his health-conscious diet and routine that keeps him fit as a fiddle even at the age of 39.
The Madeira-born megastar interestingly revealed how big a part water plays in his diet and that his biggest tip for gym goes consistency, saying: “The most important thing isn’t what you, it’s that you have to do [it].”
The clip came as part of Ronaldo’s new YouTube fame, which saw him break numerous records upon opening his own channel.
And it’s on that channel where he gave an insight into where his life may lie post-football.

In a game of ‘Mr & Mrs’ he and Rodriguez were asked where the other would like to retire, with the former putting Madrid, and the latter Saudi/Portugal.
Ronaldo’s guess of Madrid is no surprise given that the Argentine model and businesswoman moved to Spain at the age of one.
Ronaldo too may be tempted to move back to the city he called home for the majority of his life, but may have to sacrifice his incredible mansion to do so.
His return to club football came on as Al Nassr nabbed a late 1-1 draw with Ivan Toney’s Al Ahli.
Ronaldo finally reached 900 career goals over the international break and this was celebrated by the club’s fans.
They created a huge tifo to pay their respects to the legendary forward.
