Palace vs Bournemouth match stats

Bournemouth have kept a clean sheet in their last three Premier League games against Crystal Palace – only against Swansea have they had a longer run without conceding in the competition (4 between 2016 and 2018).

Crystal Palace have won each of their last three home Premier League matches, with their only run of four home wins in a row in the competition coming in April/May last season.

Bournemouth have scored 32 away Premier League goals this season, with only Liverpool scoring more (40). It’s their most in a top-flight campaign, with 27 being their previous most from last season.

In all competitions, Oliver Glasner has won 13 of his 26 home matches as Crystal Palace manager, a win ratio of 50%. Of managers to take 20+ games at Selhurst Park, this is the best win ratio since Iain Dowie won 32 of 61 home games between 2003 and 2006 (52.5%).

Palace vs Bournemouth prediction

Each of Bournemouth’s last two away Premier League matches have ended 2-2.

They’ve both scored and conceded two or more goals in seven away games this season, the joint most of any side along with Liverpool.

Only four sides have done so in eight away games in a season, most recently Tottenham last season.

It would make sense for this to end in a draw as Palace look to sure up their defence while Bournemouth who have scored in each of their last six but have conceded in five of their last six.

Palace vs Bournemouth betting tips

Bournemouth are winless in their last 10 Premier League games in London, drawing five losing five, since a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace back in December 2023.

Each of their last four games in the capital have all ended 2-2 in draws also, a popular score line for the Cherries recently.

Those came against Fulham, Chelsea, Spurs and West Ham this season and it would not be surprising to see another draw with both sides really struggling.

Bournemouth did win against Fulham bagging a quick early goal and holding on to that lead for some time to win 1-0 at home.

Jean-Phillipe Mateta has scored 18 goals in 22 Premier League appearances at Selhurst Park under Oliver Glasner, the most ever by a Crystal Palace player on home soil under a single manager.

He is averaging a goal every 98 minutes, also the best ratio of any player to play 10+ games for one manager.

This looks like a game that will always end in both teams scoring based on recent form, but head-to-head there’s always been a side goalless in their last six meetings in all competitions.

Two 0-0 draws sandwich three 2-0 wins and a 1-0 win, with the advantage just about in Palace’s favour with the aggregate 4-3 in those games.

Palace haven’t won over Bournemouth since May 2023 and this year it’s very unpredictable which makes a draw even more value.

  • Draw – 27/10 on Bet365
  • Semenyo to score/assist, Jean-Philippe Mateta to score – 11/2 on Bet365
