In the blue paint for Winnipeg, Connor Hellebuyck backstopped the Jets to their league-leading win total. The two-time Vezina Award winner picked up 35 saves to collect his second shutout of the year. Through 10 starts, the netminder possesses a .923 save percentage.
Bagging the only goal in Thursday’s affair, Gabe Vilardi pocketed his fifth goal of the year. The 25-year-old Center is on a bit of a hot streak as he has hit the back of the net in two consecutive games, and has tallied five in his last six outings.
After a red-hot display into this new season, Kyle Connor has been absent from the stat sheet in his last two games, the longest drought to start the season without a point. It’s currently four straight games now the forward has yet to fire one past the goalie.

Saturday tilt is a Central Division heavyweight bout between two clubs who have solid lineups which should make for an interesting matchup.
That said the Jets have given the Stars a difficult time at Canada Life Centre, winning 10 of the last 14 confrontations. Dallas has only won two of their five away visits while giving up at least three goals minimum in each road game this year.
The Stars line matching could hinder their ability to keep up with the last change against the Jets on Saturday. Winnipeg is lethal with the man advantage as they’re clipping at 44.4 percent on the power play.
