Watch out Luke Littler, there may be another young darts sensation on the horizon.
12-year-old Jayden Walker competed in the MODUS Super Series darts on Sunday in a doubles match with Manchester United content creator angryginge against Fallon Sherrock and YouTuber JaackMaate.
Despite being significantly young and smaller than the trio, Walker pinned an insane 145 checkout during the clash.
Sherrock and angryginge were both spotted looking shocked as the youngster received a round of applause from those watching on in the audience.
JaackMaate shook his head in disbelief too, as Walker reacted by casually sipped on water after his checkout.
Clearly in blistering form, Walker and angryginge went on to win the Super Series Pairs tournament, with the youngster hitting a 180 in the deciding leg.
Darts fans on social media loved his performance, with one writing on X: “Jayden Walker, remember the name!”
“Next Luke Littler,” another said, referring to British teen darts sensational Littler, who recently won 10 senior PDC titles.
It was on the Super Series where Littler made his name, winning the third season of the MODUS Super Series in May 2023.
Of course, Walker isn’t quite on 17-year-old Littler’s level yet, and Sunday’s event was an exhibition.
But he did beat PDC world champion Luke Humphries the day before his viral checkout.
He saw off the 29-year-old with an average of over 102 in a 2-1 win in Portsmouth on Saturday.
Humphries was seen grinning as Walker soaked in the love from the MODUS crowd after his victory.
The latter will be hoping to retain his world title at Alexandra Palace this month.
96 players will be competing for a huge prize pot worth £2.5 million.
Littler finished as runner-up last year in what was an incredible debut, and will no doubt want to go one step further this time round.
And maybe one day in the future, 12-year-old Walker will follow suit.
