Many footballers are keen to see their ratings in each new game, with a large chunk seemingly disappointed with their numbers.
Players are handed personalised copies that display their own cards for the hugely popular Ultimate Team game mode.
Nunez was presented with his at Liverpool’s training ground by Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Alexis Mac Allister in a video on the club’s YouTube channel.
And the Uruguayan forward was certainly honest in his assessment of his rating this year, with his teammates seeing the funny side of it.
The 25-year-old has seen his passing, dribbling, defending and physical stats increase from EA FC 24, although his overall rating of 82 has stayed the same.
“How would these go up this year?” he asked in apparent confusion before being jokingly told his ratings could be decreased if he wants.
However, Nunez revealed his thinking behind the stats as he said: “But out of seven games, I spent five on the bench.”
The accompanying trio of Diaz, Jota and Mac Allister all burst out laughing amid their teammate’s lack of appearances in the starting XI.
Mac Allister was on hand to explain to Nunez why his ratings had increased though, saying: “Those things are based on last season!”
The forward’s passing has risen from 71 to 72, his dribbling now sits at 78 from 76, his defending has climbed from 43 to 46 and his physical has increased by one to 86.

Nunez’s stats for EA FC 25 reflect an improved second season at Liverpool compared to his debut campaign at Anfield.
He scored 18 goals and assisted another 13 in all competitions for the Reds having netted 15 goals and providing four assists the year before.
However, the current campaign has seen him make just one start in the Premier League, with another coming in the Carabao Cup.
Jota has been the preferred option up front for Arne Slot, with the Portuguese international repaying faith by scoring three goals so far.
Nunez will be hoping to stake his claim in the Liverpool starting XI this season though, and another strong set of goals and assists could see his EA FC ratings increase even more next year.
