DeAndre Hopkins is heading to the Baltimore Ravens.

The three-time All-Pro wide receiver will sign a one-year, $6million contract, and departs the Kansas City Chiefs for one of their biggest AFC rivals.

Veteran Hopkins, who is now 32, joined the Chiefs via a trade from the Tennessee Titans midseason in 2024, but failed to be a massive difference maker for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

He contributed in spurts, finishing the season with six touchdowns – including one in Super Bowl LIX – and 466 yards.

But in 2025, he will be catching passes from another of the NFL‘s elite quarterbacks in Lamar Jackson.

He will also join former Titans teammate, running back Derrick Henry, who moved to Baltimore last year.

And it seems the trio’s link-up has been a long time coming for Hopkins, who predicted it five years ago.

Following his move to the Ravens, a photo the WR shared in February 2020 has resurfaced.

In the image, which appeared to be taken at that year’s NFL Honors ceremony, Hopkins is seen standing with Jackson and Henry.

He shared it with the caption: ‘How many TDs would this trio total?’

Well, we’re going to find out in 2025.

In Hopkins, the Ravens have added a new weapon to an offense that was so dominant last season, but one that ultimately fell short in the playoffs against the Buffalo Bills.

Head coach John Harbaugh will be hoping the trio of Hopkins, Henry and Jackson, who will be under contracts worth a combined $282m, can lift them to the Super Bowl.

The wide receiver’s one-year, $6m deal provides decent value for a veteran that has amassed 12,965 yards and 83 touchdowns on 984 receptions during his 12-year career.

He joins RB Henry, who signed a two-year, $16m deal in 2024, and QB Jackson, who inked a five-year, $260m extension the year before.

The combined worth of their contracts comes to a massive $282m, with Jackson’s deal doing much of the heavy lifting in that figure.

It’s fair to say that the Ravens got their moneys worth from their quarterback last season, who threw for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns and just four interceptions.

Henry added an impressive 1,921 yards and a league-leading 16 touchdowns on the ground (tied with James Cook and Jahmyr Gibbs) before the Ravens lost out to the Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs.

With a full offseason to acclimate Hopkins to an already scary offense, 2025 could finally be the year that Baltimore gets back to the Super Bowl.
