Uganda Cranes defender Elio Capradossi has signed a short-term contract with Italian Serie B side, AC Cittadela.
The calm and composed centre back put pen to paper to play for the club until the end of the season.
Capradossi has been without club since leaving AC Lecco early this year.
He made his debut for Uganda Cranes in July this year against Botswana, impressing many. However, coach Paul Put did not summon him for the recent games against South Africa and Congo because he did not have a club.
Born to an Italian father and Congolese mother in Entebbe, Capradossi moved to Italy at an early age.
He was part of the AS Roma youth teams before eventually playing for the senior team.
The 28-year old defender has gone on to play for several other Italian Clubs including Bari, Spezia, SPAL and Cagliari.
