Kakyeeka stadium – 4pm
With three losses on the bounce, Kitara can’t afford to slip up when they visit Mbarara City on Friday if they are to achieve their target of competing for the title this season.
Defeats at home to NEC and Police as well as away to KCCA have left the Royals just one point above relegation zone and seven adrift of leaders KCCA with just four matches played.
Brian Ssenyondo who faces former bosses at Kakyeka has shrugged off being under pressure but defeat at Mbarara could see his bosses lose patience with him.
He will hope his star forwards Denis Omedi and Jude Ssemugabi return from national duty in good form.
The visitors miss Benjamin Nyakoojo and Rogers Mugisha but are buoyed by the return of Jasper Aheebwa and Ramathan Dudu who could face former bosses.
Mbarara City, managed by Livingstone Mbabazi are in confident mood after snatching victory over BUL and a draw away to URA.
With 5 points, only two separate them from Kitara and defeat will see them being overtaken by the Royals.
