Devin Haney would fight former UFC champion Sean O’Malley in a boxing match for ‘real money’ as pair continue online feud.
This comes after the American boxing star made comments on X towards O’Malley following UFC 306, where ‘Suga’ dropped the UFC bantamweight title to Georgia’s Merab Dvalishvili.

Haney called out O’Malley on the platform not long after Dvalishvili’s hand was raised as the new bantamweight champion at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
O’Malley’s response to the post saying he would ‘still kill’ the American boxer has now sparked an online feud between the pair.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, O’Malley addressed the situation with Haney. “Boxers are f****** pussies. Devin Haney is a b****. If Devin Haney really wants to talk s***, really wants to fight, I’ll put a million dollars on me versus him, no time limit and we can fight.
“MMA rules, just a fight, or we can do no rules, so if you want to eye poke me you can. Let’s do a real f****** fight, if you wanna talk s*** on Twitter, we can really, really actually fight!
“Or just don’t talk s***, one of the two, either don’t talk shit or let’s actually fight.”
This prompted a reaction from Haney on X that suggested he would gladly accept a bout with O’Malley.
He said: “I don’t fight for a million dollars like you…let’s do a boxing fight and give us a shot at making real money”
Haney fell to Ryan Garcia in his last ring appearance, but the bout was rules a no contest after Garcia was suspended for one year having failed a drug test.
UFC President Dana White has been making headlines recently after he confirmed his desire to move into the boxing world.
White is currently working with 23-year-old Irish prospect Callum Walsh, who retained his WBC Continental Americas Super Welterweight Title against Przemyslaw Runowski last week. His professional record now stands at 12-0 after an impressive second round knockout win.
The fight was presented by UFC Fight Pass and White, who attended the bout at the 3Arena in Dublin, is working closely with the Irish sensation having previously admitted he sees great potential in him.

Boxing legend and renowned trainer Teddy Atlas also commented on White’s proposal to move into boxing. Atlas admitted he is a big fan of what White has done in the UFC and encouraged the 55-year-old to become a promoter in the industry.
O’Malley also discussed the idea of White exploring boxing, he said: “I got five, six more good years in me. If the UFC is gonna do something with boxing, I would love to [get involved]!”
“I would box [Haney]. I would put a million dollars of my own money, but I would box him, just box him to protect him, I would simply box him. But he wouldn’t just simply fight me.”
Francis Ngannou’s exploration into boxing and efforts against Tyson Fury leaves no doubt that MMA fighters have the potential to be capable boxers.
O’Malley is expected to undergo hip surgery next month and it is far more likely we will see his rematch against Dvalishvili before he enters the ring.
