Jamie Vardy could be in line for a Hollywood-style swansong with Wrexham this summer.
That’s the view of talkSPORT’s chief football correspondent Alex Crook who believes the idea of Vardy moving to the ambitious Welsh club should not be ruled out.

The veteran striker announced that he is to leave Leicester at the end of the season after a glittering 13-year spell at the club.
Vardy has netted 198 goals in 496 games for the Foxes after signing from Fleetwood Town for just £1million in 2012.
The former England international revealed his decision in an emotional social media video on Thursday but made clear his intention to continue his career elsewhere.
Vardy has been linked with moves to Saudi Arabia and the MLS but one theory is that the striker could stay a little closer to home as he plots his next move.
Wrexham could look to snap up the star for free when his contract expires at the end of June in what would be a statement signing for the club.
“Someone suggested to me this morning that if Wrexham get promoted they are going to make another TV show – don’t rule out Jamie Vardy going there,” Crook told talkSPORT on Friday.
Wrexham are in line to become the first side ever to achieve three consecutive promotions this weekend, should they pick up three points at home to promotion-chasing Charlton and Wycombe fail to win at Leyton Orient.
That would see the Red Dragons promoted to the Championship where they would face relegated Leicester next season.
And Phil Parkinson’s side would be expected to make a good fist of it next term as their ascent shows no signs of slowing down.
The potential acquisition of Vardy could be facilitated due to the club’s healthy financial situation that would see them able to compete financially with clubs dropping out of the Premier League that receive parachute payments.

“Wrexham made three times as much as any other club in League Two, more than any other club in League One and they would be in the top half of the Championship,” football finance expert Kieran Maguire told talkSPORT.
“Therefore they’re not that far behind the Championship’s big hitters – the likes of Stoke and Norwich. It’s an incredible achievement in terms of bringing in money.
“If they get promoted this year that adds another £8m of TV money because they will be in the Championship,” he added.
“So that would put them fairly close to all of the clubs except for those who will be in receipt of parachute payments in the Championship.
“I think that they are in a very strong position from a PSR (Profit and Sustainability Rules) point of view. Last year they lost £2.5m, they can lose £39m over three years when they get to the Championship.
“They have the capacity to invest in players and invest in improving the infrastructure and I think they will be an exhilarating proposition to watch because everybody’s eyes will be on them.”

Ahead of this weekend’s crunch clash with Charlton co-owner Ryan Reynolds joked that the suspense is weighing him down as Wrexham close in on the second tier of English football.
“I have, literally, like an eight-inch ulcer in my stomach right now because it’s the end of the season,” Reynolds told the TIME100 Summit earlier this week.
“It all comes down to the next two weeks. They just can’t do it easy, like just one year, let’s do it without having receding hairlines all around. We’re all losing it. Stress is killing us.”
