Experienced guard Tonny Drileba has officially joined fan-favorite Namuwongo Blazers in the ongoing transfer window.

Drileba made the switch alongside James Okello, Henry Ssebagala, and Moses Mugisha. The quartet was unveiled to the public in a ceremony held at ABJA Park in Nalya.

Expressing his excitement about the move, Drileba assured fans of his dedication to the club.

“I am glad to be here, and I promise to give 100% whenever I get the opportunity to wear this jersey,” he said.

He further reassured supporters, promising entertaining and competitive basketball.

“To the fans, expect good basketball because I am here to win. I have played competitive basketball before, but this is a fresh challenge, and I am ready for it,” he added.

Drileba also praised the Nam Blazers’ organization and structure, emphasizing their potential to reach greater heights.

“I like being part of a well-structured team. Over the years, the Blazers have done a great job, and right now, they are in a strong position to compete at the highest level,” he stated.

Feeling confident about his decision, Drileba believes the timing is perfect.
