Dusan Stojanovic will work with compatriot Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic at Al Merriekh, the club has confirmed.
Al Merriekh, playing in the Mauritania Ligue 1 due to a civil war in Sudan confirmed the appointment of the former Uganda Cranes on Thursday January 16 on a year and half deal.
“Today, Thursday, Al-Merreikh signed a contract with Serbian coach Milutin Sredojevic, known as “Micho”, as technical director for a year and a half, assisted by Serbian assistant coach Dusan Stojanovic, Frenchman Frank Blin as physical trainer, and Algerian Hajj Musa Bahilel as performance analyst.”
It is the second time Micho will be managing in Sudan after he previously handled Al Hilal Omdurman in 2010 and 2011.
In the Mauritania Ligue 1, Al Merriekh are in 10th position with 19 points after 13 league matches and are winless in the past five league games.
