Everton vs Fulham prediction

Everton were unbeaten in their first 27 home league games against Fulham between 1949 and 2018.

Winning 23 and only drawing four, which includes a victory in each of the last 22 of those fixtures.

Since then however, they’ve lost their last three at home to the Cottagers who are a great price as a result, especially given this trend and the opening few games form of both sides.

Fulham are even unbeaten in their last five Premier League games against Everton, while keeping four clean sheets in the process. All three of those wins in that run have come at Goodison Park.

However, Everton have fought back after a terrible start.

After losing their first four league games this season, Everton are now unbeaten in four games (W2 D2).

Everton have kept six clean sheets in their last seven Premier League games in October (W4 D2 L1), including both games this season. Since the 2022-23 season, the Toffees have averaged 0.75 points per game in August and September (P20 W3 D6 L11) compared to 1.55 points per game in October (W5 D2 L4).

Since Sean Dyche’s first Premier League games in charge of Everton, only Arsenal (33) have scored more goals via set pieces (excl. pens) than the Toffees (27).

Everton vs Fulham betting tips

Fulham have scored the first goal in each of their last five Premier League games, although they’ve lost the last two on such occasions.

It’s rare for teams to score first and continue to lose, with only six managing to do so three times in a row, though the most recent case was last season for Sheffield United.

However, Fulham will need to remain in top form in defence against the likes of Dwight McNeil who has been involved in six goals in his last six appearances in the league with three goals and three assists.

Raúl Jiménez has either scored or assisted in each of his last five league appearances for the Cottagers, scoring four and assisting once.

He should be getting a few chances against Everton, who’ve not only got a poor record against Fulham, have been conceding a few this season, albeit not in their latest outing.
