The FA Cup final takes place on Saturday afternoon with Manchester City and Crystal Palace battling it out at Wembley Stadium.
Manchester City head into Saturday’s FA Cup final as odds on favourites for victory in what will be their third consecutive appearance at this stage of the competition after back to back Manchester derbies in the final of the last two years.
Pep Guardiola’s side make the trip to the capital unbeaten in their last 10 matches, of which they’ve won seven of their last nine and six of their last seven, putting themselves in strong form as they chase an eighth FA Cup victory.
A 0-0 draw against bottom of the table Southampton last weekend wasn’t part of the plan though, and leaves the Citizens fourth in the Premier League table just two points ahead of sixth placed Aston Villa in the race for a place in next season’s Champions League.

This weekend will see Crystal Palace take part in just their third ever FA Cup final, with the south London just 90 minutes away from securing a first ever major trophy in the club’s history.
Oliver Glasner’s side head into one of the biggest games in the club’s history unbeaten in their last five matches having also won two of their last three, and with nothing to fight for the in the Premier League they’ve been able to put their full attention on the final.
The Eagles’ win over Tottenham in a London deby last weekend leaves them 12th in the Premier League table with only two matches of the season remaining, without any chance of a European place or any danger of relegation.
However, many sides across the Premier League will be keeping extra close attention to Saturday’s final, with Crystal Palace guaranteed a spot in the Europa League next season should they win, but should Man City win the final European spot will go to the eighth placed finishers in the league.
Manchester City are unbeaten in 12 of their last 13 matches against Crystal Palace, including all of their last seven, though two of the last four meetings have ended in stalemates which could be cause for optimism for the Eagles.
