Bronny James knows how to silence a heckler.
On the bench for the Lakers game against the Denver Nuggets on Friday, the 20-year-old had some words for a fan who hurled abuse at him.

Friday’s game saw James face some brief boos when he took the court but he kept it professional and even put up five points by the end of the contest.
However, at one point during the game the rookie was slightly less restrained as he clapped back at a heckler and silenced the tormenter quickly.
As James stood on the sidelines, a fan shouted out, “Bronny, we own your father!”
To which James quickly shot back with, “Yo chain fake.”
Unfortunately, the Lakers, who were without Luka Doncic and LeBron James, fell to the Nuggets 131-126 despite 37 and 32-point efforts from Austin Reaves and Dalton Knecht, respectively.
It was their fourth consecutive loss after previously being on an eight-game winning streak.
Bronny isn’t the only James who has confronted a spectator before either.
His father LeBron made headlines last week when footage surfaced of him having a tense exchange with ESPN broadcaster Stephen A Smith.
Smith said the exchange stemmed from the NBA superstar’s concerns about the television personality’s remarks about his eldest son.
“That was LeBron James coming up to me — unexpectedly, I might add — to confront me about making sure I mind what I say about I say about his son,” Smith said on “First Take” in reference to the Lakers rookie.

“Can’t repeat the words, because they ain’t suited for FCC airwaves, that’s what he was doing.
“And I thought long and hard about this over the last few hours, ’cause I had no intention on talking about this at all.
“I wouldn’t say it was a conversation, but it was a one-on-one confrontation. But then I wake up, and everybody from ESPN, my agent and everybody else sending me that this thing had gone viral, so, ultimately it was unavoidable, and that is why I have to discuss it now.”
Smith went on to explain that LeBron confronted him as a father, not as a basketball star lashing out at a broadcaster.
“That wasn’t a basketball player confronting me, that was a parent, that was a father. I can’t sit here and be angry or feel slighted by LeBron James in that regard,” the 57-year-old added.
“By all accounts, he’s obviously a wonderful family man and father who cares very, very deeply about his son, and based on some of the comments he had heard.
“Or shall I say I think he thought he heard, clearly took exception to some of the things he heard me say, and he confronted me about it.”
Right now LeBron will be focusing on returning from a groin injury as quickly as possible to help the Lakers snap out of its current skid.
