Gameweek five of the Premier League season is almost upon us, with Manchester City vs Arsenal the standout fixture set for Sunday.
Our recommended acca focuses on five of the matches taking place over the weekend, including that titanic tussle at the Etihad Stadium.
A £10 wager on our three-leg acca would pay out £78.32, while the same stake on our five-leg version offers a potential return of £186.13.
Crystal Palace vs Manchester United: Over 2.5 goals (4/6)
Manchester United eased the pressure on Erik ten Hag with a 3-0 victory over Southampton last time out, but the Dutchman is not out of the woods yet.
United have lost half of their four matches up to now and they need to start climbing the table as soon as possible.
Crystal Palace turned in one of their greatest ever Premier League performances in this fixture last term, running out 4-0 winners under the floodlights in south London.
But Oliver Glasner’s side have had a tricky start to the season, in part because Palace have lacked defensive solidity after a significant change in personnel at the back.
United are not exactly known for their off-the-ball structure either, so attacks will probably end up getting the better of defences in the late kick-off on Saturday.

Manchester City vs Arsenal: Draw (27/10)
Arsenal edged the head-to-head record over Manchester City last season, winning at home and drawing away. Yet that was still not enough for the Gunners to win the Premier League title.
City are currently two points clear of Arsenal at the summit of the standings, but a win for Mikel Arteta’s men would bump the champions down to second.
A draw would not be a bad result for Arsenal, though, and we believe that is the most likely outcome when these two giants butt heads on Sunday afternoon.
Arteta’s side are yet to even go behind in an away league game in 2024, a remarkable fact which underlines their resolve and grit.
City have been in fine form in the early weeks of the season, but even they will have to work hard to break down this Arsenal rearguard.
Choose a draw at 27/10 with bet365
Liverpool vs Bournemouth: Liverpool to win (27/100)
Liverpool stumbled unexpectedly last weekend, going down 1-0 at home to Nottingham Forest. It was a shock outcome at Anfield and ended a run of three consecutive victories for Arne Slot’s charges.
Bournemouth are potentially tricky opponents for anyone these days. Their pressing is excellent and Andoni Iraola’s team will carry a threat on the counter-attack.
Overall, though, we still expect Liverpool to get the job done on home turf. It is true they lacked creativity against Nottingham Forest, but that can simply be described as a bad day at the office. The fundamentals remain sound as far as the Reds are concerned.
Liverpool have won each of their last five top-flight meetings with Bournemouth at Anfield by an aggregate scoreline of 20-2. They can make it six home wins on the bounce in this one.
Tip Liverpool to win at 27/100 with bet365

Aston Villa vs Wolves: Aston Villa to win (11/20)
Aston Villa made life hard for themselves last weekend, going down 2-0 to Everton before a thrilling comeback earned them a 3-2 victory.
That moved Unai Emery’s side on to nine points for the campaign, a tally the manager will be delighted with as Villa seek to avoid a form of ‘second season syndrome’.
Things could get more challenging for Villa now that the Champions League is under way, but we do not envisage that being a problem immediately.
Wolverhampton Wanderers ended last season badly and they have continued in the same vein in 2024/25, with just one point to their name going into the weekend.
They have the players to cause Villa one or two difficulties on the break, but the home team will be confident of winning this West Midlands derby and, at least temporarily, going level on points with Manchester City.
Pick an Aston Villa win at 11/20 with bet365
Tottenham Hotspur vs Brentford: Both teams to score (8/15)
Tottenham Hotspur desperately need to return to winning ways in this London derby after emerging triumphant from only one of their first four outings.
The most painful defeat of all came last weekend, as Spurs were beaten 1-0 at home by arch-rivals Arsenal.
The winning goal came from a set-piece, an Achilles heel that Ange Postecoglou must resolve. Curiously, the Australian does not seem too bothered by his team’s dismal record from dead balls.
Needless to say, it is a shortcoming Brentford will look to exploit when they travel across the capital on Saturday.
From both set-plays and open play, the Bees carry a threat through the likes of Bryan Mbeumo, although Yoane Wissa is sidelined.
We like their chances of getting on the scoresheet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, just as they did on their last two visits.
Go for both teams to score at 8/15 with bet365
