Gameweek six of the Premier League season is almost upon us, with all 20 teams in action this weekend.
Our recommended acca focuses on five of the matches taking place across Saturday and Sunday, including Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur.
A £10 wager on our three-leg acca would pay out £35.93, while the same stake on our five-leg version offers a potential return of £113.17.
Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur: Both teams to score (4/11)
Two top-four contenders go head-to-head on Sunday in a game which should show both teams’ strengths and weaknesses.
Indeed, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur both have too many flaws to be Premier League title contenders. A defeat for either team would leave them playing catch-up in the race for Champions League football.
United could only draw 0-0 with Crystal Palace last time out. They wasted too many chances at Selhurst Park, but Erik ten Hag will be pleased that his side are at least creating opportunities.
Tottenham have some improving to do defensively, particularly in big games like this one. They defend high up the pitch and that can be exploited.
All things considered, goals at both ends is the way to go at Old Trafford in the standout fixture of the Premier League weekend.
Go for both teams to score at 4/11 with bet365
Wolves vs Liverpool: Liverpool to win (19/50)
Liverpool are flying under the radar at the start of the Premier League season – and Arne Slot will not mind that one bit.
Manchester City and Arsenal deserve their status as the two favourites for the title. Liverpool probably will finish third at best this term. But for now they are keeping in touch with the probable top two.
A trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers should be negotiated without too much difficulty. Gary O’Neil’s side have found points hard to come by and confidence within the camp must have taken a hit.
Liverpool have been mostly excellent at the beginning of the campaign and they should prove too strong for Wolves here. In our view, an away win is on the cards when these two teams meet at Molineux on Saturday.
Tip Liverpool to win at 19/50 with bet365
Everton vs Crystal Palace: Under 2.5 goals (10/11)
Everton finally got off the mark in 2024/25, collecting their first point of the campaign in a 1-1 draw with Leicester City in gameweek five.
Sean Dyche’s side led for long periods of that encounter, but the manager will have been relieved to end a four-game losing streak.
Crystal Palace are another team still waiting for their first victory of the campaign following three draws on the bounce against Chelsea, Leicester and Manchester United.
Oliver Glasner is still searching for the right blend as Palace aim to replicate the magnificent form they showed at the end of last season.
This could be an attritional affair, however. Dyche looks set to go back to basics, with an emphasis on a tight defence first and foremost. Goals could be in short supply at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Choose under 2.5 goals at 10/11 with bet365

Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion: Brighton or draw (11/10)
Whisper it, but Chelsea look to be getting their act together. They have not been beaten since a 2-0 loss to Manchester City on the opening weekend, with their most recent match ending in a 3-0 victory over West Ham United.
Enzo Maresca inherited a bloated squad but he is slowly getting to grips with it. That can only be good news for Chelsea, who are seeking a third win on the bounce in the league.
Brighton & Hove Albion are still unbeaten, though, and we like their chances of avoiding defeat this weekend too.
Chelsea dropped two points at home to Crystal Palace in their last top-flight encounter in front of their own fans. They are still a work in progress despite back-to-back wins against Bournemouth and West Ham.
Right now at least, Brighton are a better side than Palace, so they can get something from their trip to west London.
Pick Brighton or draw at 11/10 with bet365
Newcastle United vs Manchester City: Man City over 1.5 goals (1/2)
Newcastle United suffered their first defeat of 2024/25 when they went down 3-1 to Fulham last weekend.
It was a fair result and one which Eddie Howe’s team could have no complaints about, especially given their torrid display in the first half.
The hope is that Newcastle will raise their game for the visit of Manchester City in the early kick-off on Saturday, but Howe’s side have been unconvincing in terms of performances for much of the season to date.
City rescued a point against Arsenal last weekend. Despite playing with an extra man for half of the match, Pep Guardiola’s side left it late to draw 2-2.
They should be back to their fluid best against Newcastle, so we are tipping City to extend their run of scoring two goals or more to a 15th consecutive Premier League game.
Back Manchester City to score over 1.5 goals at 1/2 with bet365
