Teofimo Lopez wants to fight Terence Crawford after his September showdown with Canelo Alvarez.
The former unified lightweight champion has been feuding with Crawford for some time and is desperate to settle their score in the ring.

So desperate in fact, he claims he will fight ‘Bud’ for free.
“I’ve said publicly, I’ll fight him for free,” Lopez told Ring Magazine.
“If I can’t get the guy, I just want to be in the ring with him.
“I would like Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis in the near future. [I want to] fight the winner of Boots and (Eimantas) Stanionis.
“So, that would be great. I’m just aiming for excellence.”
Lopez and Crawford almost came to blows at Canelo vs Edgar Berlanga last September.
Both men were in attendance for the Las Vegas showcase and had to be separated by security after squaring up to each other at ringside.
Explaining what happened during an interview with Bernie The Boxer, Crawford said: “He sees me and he’s laughing and saying, ‘We are going to fight.’ And I had to check his dad because he slapped me on my shoulder trying to get some attention after my fight.
“And it’s on camera so I go to his dad, ‘If you ever put your m******* hands on me again I’m going to beat your a***.’
“And he’s like, ‘We just want the fight,’ and Teo is like, ‘No, we just want the fight,’ and I said, ‘Shut your b*** a*** up when grown folks are talking.’

“And now I’m pointing in his dad’s face because now I’m getting mad.
“Then Teo was like, ‘You want to fight outside?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, we are going to fight outside m*******, what are you talking about?’
“Then the security come in and now he is getting bold, ‘You don’t want the world to see you lose’.
“He’s a b****. If that was my dad I don’t give a f*** where we are at, n**** I’m going to clean you.”
If Lopez and Crawford are to fight then ‘The Takeover’ will have to get through Arnold Barboza Jr first.
The undefeated American overcame Jack Catterall in February to become Lopez’s mandatory for his WBO super lightweight crown.

Their fight has been added to a stacked May 2 bill at New York’s Times Square that also includes Ryan Garcia vs Rolly Romero and Devin Haney vs Jose Ramirez.
Crawford and Canelo reportedly have an agreement in place for September 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The expectation is that ‘Bud’ will retire thereafter, although he may stick around for a grudge match with Lopez.
