She then took up wrestling with the WWE where she fought until 2023 before turning her back on combat sports entirely to focus on her family.

After giving birth to her second child with partner Travis Browne, it was expected that Rousey still wouldn’t consider a comeback.

But she stirred fans into a frenzy after posting pictures of her making a return to training.

And now in her latest post, Rousey has astonishingly began training alongside ex-UFC rival Cat Zingano.

Rousey submitted her opponent in just 14 seconds of their 2015 clash, with a deadly armbar.

And now they have been working out together, putting each other through their paces in the gym.

She posted the footage on her Instagram with the caption: “Only @cynthiavancejp could shoot my struggling through postpartum ass and make it look this good.

“Thank you @alphacatzingano for stopping by and helping me relearn how to move – I forgot how fun it could be.”

In the footage, Rousey laced up her gloves and began boxing the pads held by her coach.

She then began grappling her former opponent, likely bring back bad memories for Zingano.

One wrote: “Go on Ronda, if you can do this you can make fight again!”

Another agreed: “Making a come back to the UFC stay strong and focus.”

A fan even proposed a fight, adding: “You should fight Kayla Harrison.”

Despite the hope for Rousey making a UFC comeback, she previously suggested she simply cannot return.

“Every couple years the same rumour comes out,” she said.

“But it’s not happening. I’m not neurologically fit to compete anymore at the highest level. I just can’t.

“Then I got into MMA, I had already had dozens of concussions that I trained through. Like, not even stopped for. So that was about a decade of having concussion symptoms more often than not.

I got to a point where I couldn’t take a jab without getting dazed, without getting concussion symptoms.

“It just got to a point where it wasn’t safe for me to fight anymore. I just couldn’t continue to fight at that higher level.”
