Wakiso Giants make a short trip to Kavumba where Police is lurking hoping to end their longest bad spell in history since gaining promotion to the Premier League.
The Purple Sharks are winless in seven matches in which they have only collected two points and scored once – from the penalty in the 6-1 defeat to Villa.
Steven Bengo and his staff understand the importance of ending the indecent run as failure to pick maximum points could see them drop to the relegation zone at the end of match day ten if results elsewhere go against them.
They come into the Cops game on the back of two humiliating defeats in which they have conceded nine goals against champions Villa (6-1) and URA (3-0).
Currently 13th on the league table with 9 points, they are just one point off the drop zone and take on a side that is ranked 8th on the log with 13 points and have lost just once since their return to the topflight.
Police are also on a run of three league matches without victory and twice lost a lead in the 2-2 draw with UPDF in their last game.
“In the last game, we didn’t defend well and that is an area we have worked on,” said Police Head coach Simon Peter Mugerwa.
