Lamine Yamal’s life over the last 12 months have changed radically, so it’s no surprise he’s also doing that to others.
The Barcelona wonderkid made one Australian man’s life change overnight.

One night, Aaron Morgan from South Melbourne went to sleep as normal.
The next morning he had a raft of calls and messages and had won one of the most sought-after trading cards of the year.
A keen sports card collector, Morgan had entered a Topps Chrome box break with Trident collectibles.
He missed out on witnessing the moment live, but Trident pulled Aaron the Lamine Yamal 2023/24 Topps Chrome UCC SuperFractor.
He told MatchFit: “I was actually asleep when the break happened. I woke up with a lot of missed calls and messages from the guys at Trident and collector mates.”
Aaron had the card consigned to Goldin auctions, now world famous thanks to the Netflix show ‘King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch’.
But not before PSA graded the card as a gem mint 10 – increasing the value of treasure even more.
And when the Yamal card hit the auction block, Aaron didn’t have to wait long for the bids to rack up.
He added: “It was over 100k AUD within the first two days, which blew me away.”
And eventually it went for $103,00 US dollars – a pretty nifty £164,274 for someone Down Under.

But what will he be doing with the cash windfall coming his way?
He said: “My partner and I are looking to buy a house so this will help a lot.”
However, one thing is clear – he’ll keep trying to find the next big-money rookie.
“I’ll always be buying cards,” he added.
And it’s fair to say Aaron is now a huge Yamal fan.
He added: “I think he is a freak of a player; he has achieved so much already.
“The only thing that can stop him would be injuries but let’s hope that doesn’t happen and he can become one of the greatest to ever play.”
