Zverez was two sets to one up, but Alcaraz stormed back to claim glory.

French Open Men’s Singles Final: What has been said?

Last year’s finalist Zverez can see Alcaraz making it to the last two again.

He said: “I honestly think that Carlos will be in the final.

“I don’t think there is anybody, on that side of the draw, that will challenge him.

“He’s the favourite and all of the contenders that can challenge him are on the other side of the draw, so we will have to really battle it out.”

Meanwhile, tennis legend John McEnroe is backing British star Draper to win majors soon.

He said: “Jack is locked in. This is the best I’ve ever seen Jack play.

“It’s incredible how much he’s improved in the last year. He is formidable now, and I think he’s going to win majors.

“At Wimbledon, he is going to go in at worst as fourth favourite.

“I don’t think he’s ready yet here, but he’s getting close.”
