Friday horse racing tips
- AYR
3.15: Leader In The Park 6/1 each-way (1pt)
3.50: Torneo 2/1 (1pt)
Leader In The Park
This seven-year-old has shown lots of progression in his four runs this season.
The gelding has won twice going up a total of 9lb before running with credit at Kelso in March.
He’s been waited with for a little over a month now and looks really set to strike now.
He faces a tough task against a fairly big field of 12 but has a strong form that suggests he can at least make the frame.
Torneo
This horse is very consistent placing in the top three in each of his last six chase starts.
Only really falling behind in lengths on debut over fences but has now very much got the hang of things.
Asta La Pasta would be a solid choice but he’s also entered in tomorrow’s Class 1 Premier Handicap Chase and may even prefer a softer going.
