FUFA passes 41 Billion budget for Financial Year 2025

The FUFA Ordianary General Assembly on Friday, 4th October 2024 passed a 41.114 Billion shillings budget for the next financial year.

The unanimous decision was approved at the 100th FUFA Ordinary General Assembly that was held at Maya Nature Resort.

The 2025 budget proposals have increased by about 4 billion shillings from the 37.1 Billion budget that was passed in Moroto for financial year 2024.

FUFA’s major sources of income include FIFA, CAF, Government and Sponsorships among others.

Income Estimates for 2025

FIFA Grant – 10.688 Billion Shillings
CAF Grant – 2.438 Billion Shillings
Government- 17 Billion Shillings
Others (Fines, Merchandise etc) – 2.290 Billion shillings

According to FUFA, the budget will spread across its 8 key focus areas as shown below;

Governance – 1.172 Billion shillings
Administration- 4.905 Billion shillings
Football Development – 1.704 Billion Shillings
Competitions – 4.511 Billion shillings
National Teams – 16.982 Billion Shillings
Marketing and Communications- 2.256 Billion Shillings
Hardware(Infrastructure and Facilities) – 7.108 Billion shillings
Stakeholders- 2.476 Billion Shillings

In some of the budget highlights, FUFA will put keen emphasis on completing Kadiba Training Facility ahead of CHAN in February next year.

Additionally, the FUFA Technical Master Plan, National Teams and enhancing governance structures were also highlighted.
