Gaddafi, Blacks Power and Booma record home victories on match day 4 | FUFA Big League 2024-2025

Match day four of the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League was completed on Sunday, 27th October 2024 at various venues.

Of the five matches played, Gaddafi, Booma and Blacks Power all registered home victories.

Gaddafi (under the new management of Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation) overcame visiting Calvary 2-0 at the Entebbe Works playground.

Former Vipers’ forward Davis Kasirye and Dan Kazibwe scored in either half on the sunny evening in Entebbe.

This was Gaddafi’s second home victory under head coach Allan Kabonge after their 1-0 win over Kigezi Home Boyz.

Gaddafi remains unbeaten with two 1-all away draws against Kaaro Karungi and Kiyinda Boys.

Meanwhile, Blacks Power edged Kataka 2-0 at the Akii Bua stadium in Lira city.

Nathan Oloro and Innocent Maduka scored Blacks Power’s two goals.

Booma pipped Kaaro Karungi 1-0 in Masindi at the Masindi Municipal stadium with Sempijja on target.

Booma is now top of the table standings with 9 points, one better than Gaddafi after the opening four matches.

Kiyinda Boys staged a gallant fight, recovering from a goal down to win 1-2 on the road at Busoga United at the Kyabazinga stadium in Jinja city.

Norman Ogik and Methiodious Jjungu were on target for Kiyinda Boys.

Former Uganda Premier League entity MYDA shared the spoils with Paidha Black Angels in a four goal stalemate at the Kongunga primary school playground in Bukedea district.

On Saturday, Ntugasaze and visiting Onduparaka played to a 1-all draw at the Mityana Ssaza ground.

Earlier on Thursday, Kataka had lost 0-2 to Arua Hill at the Pece War Memorial stadium in Gulu.

Simon Okot and Charles Akena were on target for Arua Hill Football Club.

When the FUFA Big League climaxes in May 2025, three clubs shall be promoted to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League for the 2025-2026 season.

Match day 5 will be held on Thursday, 31st October 2024 to Wednesday, 6th November 2024.
