FUFA Big League top performers Gaddafi and Blacks Power remain in a cut-throat contest after match day 13.
These two clubs won their respective games on Sunday, 5th January 2025,
Gaddafi recorded a comprehensive 3-0 home victory over Booma at the Works playground in Entebbe Municipality.
A brace from Congolese national Jonathan Mbula Moboko and another strike from substitute Davis Kasirye gave Allan Kabonge’s coached side the maximum points.
Blacks Power recovered from a goal down to outmuscle Ntugasaze 2-1 away at the Ssaza grounds in Mityana.
Both Gaddafi and Blacks Power have collected 26 points as they remain neck-to-neck in the promotion race to the Uganda Premier League for the 2025-2026 season.
In other results on the day, Onduparaka smiled past visiting Kiyinda Boys 1-0 at the Aba Bet Green Light Stadium in Arua city.
Allan Kiggundu scored the Catarpillar’s only goal with 7 minutes left on the clock.
Buhimba United Saints edged Kaaro Karungi 2-1 at the Kigaaya primary school playground in Kikuube district.
Hassan Kikoyo and Martin Opolot were on target for Buhimba United Saints.
Both Onduparaka and Buhimba United Saints have collected 21 points.
At the Kyabazinga stadium in Bugembe, Jinja, the home side Busoga United overcame Arua Hill 2-1.
In Paidha, Paidha Black Angels defeated Kigezi Home Boyz 2-0 at the Bar Okoro Stadium in Zombo.
The Eastern derby witnessed Kataka win away from home 1-0 over MYDA at the Kongunga primary school playground in Bukedea.
Michael Olinga converted Stephen Namaisi’s long throw-in assist for the solitary goal on the evening.
Match day 13 will climax on Wednesday, 8th January 2025 with a single duel between Calvary and Kigezi Home Boyz at the Midigo primary school ground.
Promotion:
The top three clubs will be promoted to the Uganda Premier League for the 2025-2026 season.
Demotion:
