Gaddafi, Ntugasaze attain crucial away wins | 2024-2025 FUFA Big League

The FUFA Big League had match day 7 successfully completed with 11 goals scored from the 7 matches played.

There were six clear cut victories and only one game ended in a stalemate; a goalless draw between Calvary and Booma.

Gaddafi and Ntungasaze recorded 2-0 identical away victories over Buhimba United Saints and MYDA respectively.

A goal in each half from Michael Lubowa and Davis Kasirye gave Allan Kabonge’s coached side the maximum points at the Kigaaya primary school in Hoima city.

Godfrey Kakooza scored a brace for visiting Ntugasaze in their 2-0 win over MYDA.

In Arua, Junior Andama struck a late-late penalty to see Onduparaka edge Arua Hill at the Green Light Stadium.

Kigezi Home Boyz against Busoga United

Kigezi Home Boyz overcame visiting Kataka 1-0 at the Kabale Municipal Stadium in Kabale with Ashirafu Nkurunungi on target.

Elsewhere, Paidha Black Angels humbled Busoga United 1-0 at the Bar Okoro stadium whilst Calvary beat Busoga United in convincing fashion 3-1 at the Midigo primary school playground in Yumbe.

The contest between Calvary and Booma played on Thursday failed to find a clear-cut winner with both teams playing to a non-scoring draw.

Match day 8:

This coming Sunday (24th November 2024), it will be match day 8 in action at different venues.

Struggling MYDA visit Gaddafi at the Entebbe Works playground, Arua Hill entertains Paidha Black Angels at the Pece War Memorial stadium in Gulu and Blacks Power will play Calvary in Lira (Aki Bua memorial stadium).

In other matches, Busoga United entertains Buhimba United Saints at Kakindu stadium, Kataka will lockhorns against Kiyinda Boys in Mbale, Kaaro Karungi will host Kigezi Home Boyz in Ntungamo and Paidha Black Angels will take on Booma Football Club at the Bar Okoro stadium.

By the end of the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League in May 2025, three clubs shall be promoted to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
