Gervonta Davis’ controversial clash with Lamont Roach was a massive commercial success.
The fight generated a massive $6,415,815 gate from 16,420 tickets sold plus 766 comps, according to an Authorized Combative Sports Tax Return audit from New York State.

The 17,186 attendance falls just shy of the overall attendance record.
However, it is the highest-grossing boxing event ever to take place at the famous venue and is second for any show in Barclays Center history.
Davis and Roach boxed to a contentious draw last month after the latter was wrongfully denied a knockdown in the ninth round.
After being caught by a grazing jab, Davis took a knee before walking over to his corner to get a piece of debris wiped from his eye.
Referee Steve Willis initially administered a count before bizarrely breaking it off and allowing the action to resume.
It ultimately cost Roach the fight, which ended in a majority draw after the judges were unable to split the pair.
Two of them had it 114-114 even while the third scored it in Davis’ favour by a narrow margin of 115-113.
Roach’s team submitted an appeal to the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) to have the draw overturned in the immediate aftermath.
However, the result was upheld after an official enquiry.
The NYSAC ruling read: “The bout continued for more than three full rounds after the referee’s no knockdown call.

“And because the boxers necessarily adjusted to the referee’s ruling, the referee’s call was not outcome-determinative.”
Roach’s attorney Gregory M Smith added: “Lamont and his team remain disappointed by the announced outcome and the lack of action by the commission, but grateful for the support of the boxing public.
“Lamont is confident that a rematch will end with a victory, but until then, he is the people’s champion at 135 pounds.”
Davis retained his WBA lightweight title as a result of the draw, but will put his black and gold strap on the line again this summer in a rematch.
Organisers are reportedly targeting June 21 in Las Vegas.
Erislandy Lara is expected to defend his WBA middleweight title on the undercard, while Jermell Charlo‘s long-awaited return to the ring could also land on the bill.
