Tyreek Hill isn’t buying into the Travis Hunter hype.
The second overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft has been labeled a generational athlete by some thanks to his two-way playing ability as both a cornerback and wide receiver.

In his final college season with the Colorado Buffaloes, Hunter made good on his promise and scooped the Heisman Trophy after he played nearly 1,400 scrimmage snaps on offense and defense.
The Jacksonville Jaguars took him at No. 2 in last month’s draft, and many fans are excited to see exactly how the two-way star will be deployed in the pros.
But it seems Hunter will have his work cut out to impress Hill, who has made his feelings clear on the rookie who is yet to play a snap in the NFL.
During an appearance with streamer Adin Ross, the Miami Dolphins star was asked what he thinks about Jacksonville’s newest arrival.
“He’s gonna be a**,” Hill, who has a playful rivalry with Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles, responded.
The clip of his brutal assessment went viral on social media, and the fastest player in the NFL later moved to clarify his comment.
He quickly backtracked, and suggested he was joking, while also offering praise of Hunter’s former Buffaloes teammate Shedeur Sanders, who shockingly slid through the draft.
“Travis gonna be a dawg, bruh. Travis gonna be a dawg, Shedeur gonna be a dawg,” he said.
Hill’s comments about Hunter were not the only ones that caused controversy on the stream.
The former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver also launched a scathing rant about Buffalo Bills fans when one of Ross’ crew members asked if there was a team he did not like.

“When I used to play in Kansas City, bruh, it was always ‘f*** the Bills’ every time we played against them,” Hill said, referring to the first six years of his career.
“And we f***ed them up every time. But in Miami, it’s the same thing too though, but like 10 times harder.”
Hill went on to suggest Bills fans have CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy), a severe brain injury that can be sustained by NFL players from blows to the head.
“It’s f*** the Bills all day,” he continued.
“All they want to do is jump through f***ing tables, because they’ve got CTE. Stupid a** fans.”
While Hill’s hate for the Bills is clear to see, his suggestion that the Chiefs ‘f***ed the Bills’ every time he played against them isn’t completely true.

During his time in Kansas City, Hill’s Chiefs went 3-2 against Buffalo, but did indeed get the better of them when it mattered most in the playoffs.
However, the 31-year-old has been on the losing side more often than not in recent years.
Since arriving in Miami in 2022, his Dolphins are 1-6 against the Bills.
Given he’s been on the wrong end of a one-sided head-to-head since moving to South Beach, it’s not surprising that Hill has such a deep hate for his AFC East rivals.
The feeling is probably mutual from Bills fans, too.
