Move aside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, because Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are coming for the NFL’s power couple crown.

While they may not make headlines every time they step out together – or every time Steinfeld is splashed across the jumbotron at Highmark Stadium – it’s clear there’s a lot of love between the pair.

So much so, that Buffalo Bills quarterback Allen went above and beyond to ensure that their relationship wasn’t cursed last Christmas.

Steinfeld made the revelation in her newsletter this week, explaining how the two got each other the same gift in 2023.

“I got this knife for Josh last year for Christmas because cooking is something we love to do together,” Steinfeld wrote in the latest issue of Beau Society.

“For Christmas he got me… the same one in a different colorway!

“After we exchanged our knives, he told me there’s an old wive’s tale that if you gift your significant other a knife you have to pay for it, otherwise it signifies the severing of a relationship. So we exchanged quarters so we didn’t have that bad omen.”

The knife in question costs around $430, which is small change for Allen, who is on a six-year, $258 million deal with the Bills.

He has been dating Steinfeld since last year.

While the quarterback has often remained tight-lipped about his relationship, he got candid about the 27-year-old star ahead of the 2024 NFL season.

“We love love,” he said in August, after the couple went “Instagram official” the month before.

Steinfeld is not flashed across the big screen at Highmark Stadium as much as Swift is when she watches Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, but according to reports, she quietly attends nearly every Bills game.

Buffalo are 4-2 this season, and host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in what will be a landmark game for Allen.

The 28-year-old quarterback will make his 100th NFL start, and he could also have a new receiver to throw to in the recently-acquired Amari Cooper.

“It’s been a pretty good couple of days,” said Allen, who has a record of 67-32.

“We all know about the story about where I came from, junior college and no offers and this and that.

“It’s gone by really fast. And it still feels like I’m that same kid that dreamt of playing in the NFL.

“And I get to live out my dream. It’s something I’ll never take for granted.”
