Paddy Pimblett will look to continue his rise up the UFC rankings this weekend when he takes on Michael Chandler.
The Scouser is one of the most popular fighters around, and after a lengthy break, he’s back to maintain his undefeated record.

But he hasn’t been in UFC for that long and was a staunch member of the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship.
He spent eight years with that promotion, honing his skills before Dana White came knocking.
Has Paddy Pimblett ever lost in MMA?
The simple answer is yes.
Pimblett has been beaten three times in his career, all while representing the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship.
His first defeat came early on in his career against Cameron Else, and he was choked out after 35 seconds in October 2013 – just three fights into his time with Cage Warriors.
He obviously learned his lesson because Pimblett then went on an extraordinary run, beating everyone until April 2017.
He then faced Nad Narimani and lost via unanimous decision to him.

The Liverpudlian bounced back in his next fight but then took on Soren Bok and was defeated via unanimous decision once more.
Despite the three losses on his record, Pimblett has never been knocked out.
Pimblett then had a series of fights cancelled before completing two more Cage Warriors bouts and then joining the UFC.
Since becoming a UFC fighter, Pimblett has won all six of his fights and has been awarded Performance of the Night four times.
Last time out, he saw off King Green and now has his eyes on Chandler.
This is almost certain to be the toughest test of his career.
Chandler is eight years older than Pimblett, but he has fought for UFC titles in the past.
